Authorised Repair Work
Once approval is confirmed, we carry out repairs in line with the estimate and keep you informed about timescales and parts lead times.
Direct Settlement Where Permitted
Some schemes allow us to invoice a claims handler or intermediary directly; others require you to pay and reclaim. We explain this before work goes ahead.
Additional Work by Agreement
If you want non-insured improvements or upgrades at the same time (for example, extra sealant work or accessories), we can price these separately.
Habitation & Safety Checks
Habitation checks, gas tests and electrical safety checks can be combined with insurance repairs to minimise downtime.
How the Allianz Repair Process Usually Works
- Contact us with your details – policy or claim reference, insurer or broker name, vehicle details and a brief description of the damage.
- Book an inspection – your caravan or motorhome comes into our AWS-approved workshop for assessment, photos and measurements.
- Report, estimate & approval – we provide documentation and costs for the insurer or their appointed handler, then explain any decision and contribution to you.
- Repair & handover – once authorised, work is completed, checked and documented, and we walk you round the repair at collection.
Every policy and claim is different. We’ll confirm what your insurer or broker expects and outline likely timeframes when you book.
