1What do you use?

Typical power figures are filled in. Change them if you know yours. Items marked 230V run through an inverter.

How do I find the watts?
  • Check the label. Look on the back, the plug or the charger for a number with W after it, like "1200W".
  • Only shows amps (A)? Use the converter below: amps × 12 for 12V items, amps × 230 for mains items.
  • No label? Search online for the make and model followed by "watts".
  • Fridges switch on and off all day, so leave the hours at about 8 rather than 24.
=48 W
